Our rattan furniture is handmade in Indonesia – the birthplace of the rattan bistro chair. We use Manau rattan, which is grown and harvested in the Indonesian rainforests. It is known for its durability, strength, and weather-resistant qualities. Indonesia is the largest rattan producer in the world.

We coat each piece of rattan with PU-DOFF, a transparent solvent-based polyurethane resin that provides extra protection from UV rays. The unique coating is specially formulated to deliver a durable, protective layer to resist water and chemicals, making it UV-resistant.

Although Paris made the Bistro table and chair famous, Indonesia made the chairs possible.
