Our rattan furniture is handcrafted in Indonesia, the cradle of the rattan bistro chair. We use Manau rattan, which is grown and harvested in Indonesian rainforests. It is renowned for its durability, strength and resistance to the elements. Indonesia is the world's largest producer of rattan.
We coat every piece of rattan with PU-DOFF, a transparent solvent-based polyurethane resin that offers additional protection against UV rays. The unique coating is specially formulated to provide a durable protective layer that resists water and chemicals, making it UV-resistant.
Although Paris made the bistro table and chair famous, Indonesia made chairs possible.
