This purchase includes 10 packages containing 20 European sugar packets (40 cubes) in a gift box with a cellophane lid. Each box sugar packet contains 2 sugar tablets. The sugar pieces are standard European-sized tablets and are not cubed. The package includes an attractive sticker on the front and an informative sticker on the back.

Absinthe is, and has always been, made to taste to one's liking; therefore, the amount of sugar used is purely based on the drinker's preference. During the pre-ban era (before the 1915 absinthe ban in France), it was rare to find someone who drank absinthe without first sweetening it with sugar. Hence, the many antique accouterments used to add sugar to absinthe.

Our privately labeled sugar cubes are the same as those found in cafés, bars, and restaurants throughout Europe. Our sugar does not contain absinthe and can be used anywhere sugar is used.
