Glass Fountain Spout Installation

To install the spout onto your glass fountain, begin by inserting the stem of the spigot (A) (the clear rubber sleeve) into the spout hole of the fountain. While the stem is inside the fountain, hold the silver base of the spout that looks like a nut (B) with one hand and turn the spout (C) clockwise with your other hand. The round clear nut (D) at the end of the rubber sleeve will begin to tighten and condense the rubber sleeve (E). This will create a watertight seal inside the fountain's spout hole. Occasionally the round clear nut (D) may first need to be slightly tightened before inserting it into the spout arm. Once the spout is installed, simply turn the spout until it is parallel with the fountain.

There is no need to over tighten the spigot. Once the rubber sleeve expands and fills the spout hole, it should be sufficient to hold the water.
